The mission of the Sr. Sales Engineer is to accelerate the market adoption of our solutions for Integration. Alongside the sales representatives, the solution consultant is on the front line, understanding the business needs and delivering the solutions to meet them.


The Sr. Sales Engineer is a pre-sales technical position supporting the sales organization in generating revenue. Responsible for working with Sales to present technical solutions to customers, respond to RFI/RFQs, support customer evaluations of the products, and act as technical resource to the customer in support of Sales during the entire sales cycle.


The Sr. Sales Engineer position is also accountable for developing, implementing and supporting sales demonstration infrastructure. This includes working with leading-edge technologies to implement and maintain a world-class demonstration environment that meets the needs of the Sales organization.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist the account teams to promote, evangelize and educate their customers on-site or through remote meetings. Provide proactive communication to the account teams to empower them to effectively promote and sell all solutions.
  • Develop scope of work (SOW) by coordinating with sales, development and product teams. Includes customer design requests and recommendations for optimal product use.
  • Facilitate successful project execution by timely project completion, customer satisfaction and project profitability.
  • Identify and address risk factors, changes in scope, and external dependencies, and implement innovative solutions to keep projects moving forward
  • Work with Marketing, Product Managers, Professional Services and Development to understand the solutions and product directions and to communicate this information to the sales, partner and distributor organizations.
  • Be the consultant ambassador of our solutions and assist the marketing organization with solution launches, technical press meetings, customer events, regional and national tradeshows, and relevant corporate events
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years enterprise software experience in a Pre-Sales support roll required
  • Avixa CTS preferred
  • Experience supporting agencies and global digital signage technology solutions.
  • Effective oral, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organization, time management skills and multi-tasking skills.
  • Solid understanding of product management life cycle in order to facilitate design change requests from customers.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced sales environment while driving results
  • This position requires travel to client sites throughout the United States, the average travel time is 10-20%
