Job Description:

 

Internship Title: IT Associate Intern

 

Position Summary:

 

Magna Legal Services is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Associate Intern to join our IT department. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work alongside our technical support team, assisting with daily operations and gaining valuable real-world experience in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and IT project support. This internship will be on-site at our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and track problem resolutions.
  • Assist with system maintenance, including updates, hardware setups, and IT inventory tracking.
  • Contribute to IT projects by documenting procedures, testing new technologies, and collaborating with team members on rollouts and upgrades.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
  • Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, basic scripting (PowerShell, Python), or IT tools like Active Directory and remote desktop applications.
  • Prior experience through projects or internships involving system setup or technical support.
  • Ability to commute to our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline. Rising Seniors are preferred.
  • Coursework in networking, systems administration, software development, or cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Ability to commute to the Philadelphia, PA office.

Compensation: USD $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.

 

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
