Purpose: To train in multiple maintenance and camp facilities including BI, Island, Snow Camp, Island and Projects Team. To assist the Property Services team by performing maintenance, construction, or housekeeping tasks, while supporting the overall strategic plan and goals of Word of Life.
Core Responsibilities:
- Train and learn how to maintain facility systems.
- Learn to Utilize ePAC to:
- Write work orders
- Review Work orders.
- Manage backlogs
- Create daily schedules
- Learn how to identify opportunities to reduce equipment and facility failures through the creation of Preventive and Predictive maintenance plans.
- Provide management of volunteers and students.
- Attend and contribute at Property Services staff meetings where:
- Goals are communicated
- Results are reviewed
- Spiritual maturity is fostered
- Team work is expected
- Build and encourage strong partnerships and integration with internal customers.
- Utilize best practices to achieve maximum results at the lowest possible cost.
Key Expectations:
- Communicate regularly with the Camps Maint./Skills Group Manager concerning vision, progress towards goals, growth and opportunities.
- Embrace and encourage the overall purposes and philosophy of Word of Life.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communication with peers.
- Continually improve the condition of WOL facilities.
