Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing food to support the kitchen and Executive Chef.

  • Assisting in creating dishes that exceed guest expectations.

  • Being cross-trained on various kitchen stations such as Pantry to provide flexibility and meet the kitchen’s needs during high-volume service times.

  • Adhering to safety and quality standards by following established policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Preparing items for service, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and butchering meats.

  • Supporting other stations or special events as needed.

  • Maintaining professional behavior and time management skills.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience and previous experience as a Line Cook is REQUIRED (at least 2 years in a restaurant preferred)

  • Expertise in pasta preparation is highly desired

  • Flexibility to work with pantry or cold items as needed

  • Adaptability to upcoming changes, as we are planning to relocate within Avon this June

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Good time management skills and professional behavior

  • Open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
