Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience working with cattle in a livestock or farm setting.
- Knowledge of cattle health, anatomy, and behavior.
- Proficiency in medical procedures such as administering injections, wound care, and sample collection.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exhibit strong horsemanship and cattle handling experience.
- Embrace innovation and be open to exploring new ideas and addressing complex challenges.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in animal science, veterinary technology, or a related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and animal odors. The position may require occasional evening or weekend work, especially during busy seasons or emergencies. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and move around in livestock pens are important for this role.
