SUMMARY:
The Property and Casualty Claim Support Representative is responsible for the intake and maintenance of claim information, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service. The P&C Claim Support Representative is also accountable for assigned general office duties and Reception relief, as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate with all interested claim parties, to obtain sufficient relevant information to create occurrences and claims in the claim system
- Manually initiate occurrences and claims in the claim system, accurately entering all details and information
- Index all pertinent claim documents into document management software
- Print checks issued by adjusters, pair them with supporting documentation and prepare for distribution
- Scan and electronically distribute incoming mail; prepare documents for outgoing mail
- Manage documents related to member renewals, endorsements, and schedules as received
- As needed, perform financial transactions and prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist adjusters with claim functions as requested
- Answer phone calls from members, third parties, and IRCM Claims Representatives
- Create and maintain department spreadsheets and form letters
- Maintain department documents in electronic shared drives
- Provide reception desk relief, as needed
- Perform all actions relating to customers and companies in a manner that will avoid issues involving potential errors and omissions
- Participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses and for knowledge and skill development
