This paralegal position provides support the attorneys in the estate planning, business-succession planning and fiduciary advice practice groups. Responsibilities include assisting the attorneys in the preparation of estate planning documents, deeds and beneficiary designation forms; preparation of certain business-planning related documents such as assignments; attending and assisting in client meetings with execution of documents; assisting with client communications; preparing closing binders and electronic transcripts of estate planning and business planning documents, assisting with corporate and court filings; obtaining Tax ID numbers; assisting with billing; assisting with electronic productions of documents and secure file sharing; and assisting with managing certain administrative tasks for the attorneys.Â

- Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF software, and DocuSign;
- Proficient in or willing to learn software for secure file sharing and billing.
- Experience with XPressDox a plus.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience;
- At least two plus years of experience in a professional services firm with a concentration in estate planning, corporate or other relevant work. Litigation experience will be considered as well, although this will not be the paralegals primary job responsibility.
