Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for an Electrical Engineer to support our growing organization. This position is based in our Midvale, UT office.

Your Impact

At Sunrise Engineering, our Electrical Engineers provides both strategic and operational support to service centers throughout the organization.

• Our Engineers design, review, and update electrical construction drawings. These projects may range from water and wastewater, land development, and industrial process applications based on the need of the Service Center.
• Occasionally accompany project managers for field surveys or inspections.
• Conducts studies and prepares written reports for clients.
• Support project managers, drafters, and field personnel in design of electrical projects.
• May work individually or participate as part of a team for larger scale projects.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Assist in business development efforts.
• May assist in preparing statements of qualifications and proposals for potential clients.

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications

Successful candidates should have an interest in perusing a career in electrical engineering, specifically industrial applications or electrical power systems.  Having a completed four-year electrical engineering degree, CAD experience, good verbal and written communication skills, and 0-5 years of experience working in Electrical Engineering will make you a strong candidate. 

Preferred candidates will have experience managing projects and managing teams.
