In late 2020, SMF joined the Etnyre International team and is now a part of an exciting growing organization. We are looking for energetic experienced CNC Milling Machine Center Operators to join our 2nd and 3rd shift teams.
Job Summary & Functions: Produces machined parts by setting up and operating CNC Milling Machining Centers; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Sets up and operates CNC Milling Machine Centers to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
- Translates instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Prepares a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Sets machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
- Supervises the machines while they execute the tasks and makes any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspects and measures finished products and compares them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Checks and maintains machinery daily to ensure functionality
