Salary Ranges:

"Maintenance Technician : $23.50 - $30.96

Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.

Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF (an Etnyre International Company) is a full-service metal manufacturing facility that specializes in heavy and light fabrication for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). With more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing capabilities between our two facilities, Our processes include everything from engineering and fabrication to multiple finishing options. In late 2020, SMF joined the Etnyre International team and is now a part of an exciting growing organization. We are looking for a energetic experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma required; additional technical certification in multi-craft maintenance (or similar) preferred. Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in a manufacturing setting required to include experience with 3 phase power / 480v and low voltage circuits; PLC troubleshooting a plus. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and service mindset are essential as well as being self-driven with the ability to work autonomously with limited direction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required.
