Position Summary:
As a Faculty Member, you will plan, teach, direct, and supervise all student learning experiences in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical areas, following the curriculum approved by the Accreditation Bureau.
Responsibilities:
This faculty position reports directly to the Campus Director.

Key Functions:
- Curriculum Implementation:Â Teach and implement the total curriculum under the direction and supervision of your direct supervisor.
- Activity Planning:Â Plan and assign student activities in the classroom and/or clinical settings.
- Student Support:Â Identify individual and collective learning needs of students, considering their physical, mental, and emotional status.
- Record Keeping:Â Maintain records of student progress, performance, attendance, and grades.
- Assessment:Â Prepare, administer, and grade written and practical examinations.
- Lesson Planning:Â Devise and implement written lesson plans through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, etc.
- Student Engagement:Â Discuss concerns and problems with students related to their learning experience.
- Meetings:Â Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the Program Director or their designee.
- Professional Development:Â Assist students in developing values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
- Instructional Materials:Â Participate in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
- Role Modeling:Â Provide a professional role model for students.
- Pharmacy Technician Instruction:Â Provide instruction to Pharmacy Technician classes and prepare students for a successful career as a Pharmacy Technician Assistant.
- Curriculum Development:Â Assist with ongoing review and development of curricula in the department.
- Attendance:Â Attend orientations, staff meetings, and faculty meetings as scheduled.
- Monitoring:Â Monitor student progress and attendance.
Lab Instruction:
Oversee and facilitate laboratory sessions for students, providing hands-on instruction, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and inquiry.
