Summary

The Technical Product Specialist supports the MAPS product team by managing publishing, field mapping, file interface checks, and Jira board maintenance, ensuring smooth and accurate data management. Additionally, this role provides both technical and administrative support to the team and acts as a liaison to the support team for resolving technical incidents, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of product development and operations.

Essential Duties

  1. Manages the publishing and fielding process and maintains accurate field mappings within the system to ensure consistent development.
  2. Conduct routine file interface checks to verify data accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
  3. Assists the Product Owner with Jira board maintenance by assisting with complete tickets, ordering Sprints, and ensuring all sub-tasks have been updated and managed timely.
  4. Serves as a Tier 2 resource on the support team to resolve support tickets that are more technical in nature.

 

Job Duties

  • Manage the end-to-end process of publishing client forms and documents and maintaining accurate field mapping nomenclature and processing.
  • Conduct daily file automation checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy by monitoring file transfers, verifying correct data formatting, and identifying any discrepancies or errors that require immediate attention.
  • Assist the Product Owner with Jira board maintenance by completing tickets, ordering Sprints, and ensuring all sub-tasks are updated and managed timely.
  • Support the Product Owner in prioritizing project tasks and allocating resources efficiently to optimize team productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Serve as a Tier 2 resource on the support team to resolve support tickets that are more technical in nature.
  • Provide technical support to team members by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and coordinating with subject matter experts when needed.
  • Participate in product development meetings to provide insights and feedback on technical challenges and user needs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to navigate basic aspects of the functionality of the MAPS, Blueway, and myesMD suite of software for technical support and testing tasks.
  • Maintains a 40-hour work week, is consistently punctual, regular, and predictable in attendance, and provides advance notice to the team well ahead of any planned absences
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
  • Respectfully takes direction from Senior Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirement

This position requires minimal (0-5% of the position) travel. Travel may include overnights.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field, and/or two to four-year(s) of experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, or related industries
