Position Summary:
Goldey-Beacom College invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Sports Management. We seek a visionary educator with a strong background in program development to lead and grow our undergraduate Sports Management offerings. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape a dynamic curriculum to emphasize both academic excellence and hands-on learning experiences, preparing students for successful careers in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and assess undergraduate courses in Sports Management, ensuring relevance and rigor across all content areas.
- Mentor students, creating a community of scholars in the field.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive Sports Management program that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical, experiential learning opportunities.
- Establish partnerships with industry to support internships, practicums, and other hands-on learning experiences for students.
- Participate in department and college assessment activities and contribute to program accreditation processes, if applicable.
