Description

Handles inbound calls according to established procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Treats each caller with courtesy, dignity and respects the callers right to privacy.
  • Accurately follow and explain established policies and procedures.
  • Accurately enter data into software system.
  • Adhere to work schedule in order to handle the call volume and contractual requirements
  • Meet or exceed established performance requirements
  • Respond to customer inquiries and problems providing timely and accurate information or directing inquires to supervisors
  • Remains informed on new policy and procedures and other general information of interest to customers
  • Other duties assigned
  • Describe level of decision making and list examples of common decisions made
  • Determines the accuracy of the customer information for transportation to better serve the client.

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Certifications Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Able to operate a computer and standard telephone system. Exercise business telephone etiquette and communicate clearly effectively.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (include amount of travel):

  • Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged hours, office type call center environment
