Fellowship Opportunities

 

 

The YMCA of the Rockies' Fellowship opportunities are 12 month seasonal roles that focus on professional development for career specific expertise, as well as overall management and non-profit industry skills.

 

 

Craft Shop Assistant Director Fellowship (Snow Mountain Ranch, May 1st, 2025 - May 8th, 2026) Under the direction of the Associate Program Director (SMR), the Assistant Director will develop and implement programs and train and supervise staff for the Craft Shop at Snow Mountain Ranch. The Craft Fellow will train, supervise, schedule, provide professional development opportunities for and evaluate seasonal staff and volunteers in the responsibilities of cashiering and in instruction in 6 or more different art processes. They will also be responsbile for controlling the flow and distribution of products for sale by determining the type of products needed then purchase, determine the prices they are to sell for, how best to display them, and determine what system works best to track all inventory within the Craft Shop.

 

Special Events Fellowship (Estes Park Center, June 2nd, 2025 - June 5th, 2026) The Special Events Fellow will help plan and execute events for staff and guests. They help with logistics including scheduling, ordering supplies, and marketing the events. They will also lead trips beyond Estes Park and work collaboratively with many different departments to help build community at the YMCA. The Special Events Fellow will also be trained in all program areas and act as a leader among program staff.
