Position Overview:
As the Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, including training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring impeccable customer service. In this role, you’ll support the Warehouse Manager in logistics, staff leadership, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with office staff on inventory discrepancies, damages, or losses.
- Repair returned windshields using proper tools for resale.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries effectively.
- Manage inventory and ensure quality control on stocked products.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment.
- Assist in warehouse logistics and operations alongside the Warehouse Manager.
- Train employees in product packaging and warehouse safety procedures.
- Handle physical tasks, including pulling and replacing windshields in warehouse crates.
- Serve as Site Leader in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 50–80 pounds and perform activities such as bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Work in an environment exposed to temperature changes, dust, and noise.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong "team player" mindset.
- Prior forklift experience and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
