Description

The Corporate Controller will serve as the chief accounting officer for the organization, directing all accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting. This leadership role requires deep expertise in the unique financial dynamics of the multi-site dental/healthcare industry, focusing on technical compliance, risk mitigation, and accurate management of the complex revenue cycle. The Controller is responsible for preparing timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, optimizing accounting processes, and ensuring the financial integrity of the company's fiscal operations.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in an Accounting Manager or Controller role.

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the dental industry, a Dental Support Organization or a multi-site healthcare provider where RCM and regulatory compliance were a primary focus.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven ability to establish and enforce robust internal controls in a multi-location, high-volume transactional environment.

  • Deep practical understanding of healthcare/dental RCM, financial closing cycles, and audit management.

  • Advanced proficiency with large-scale ERP systems and superior Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial data to executive leadership.
