Mental Health Therapist I

Position and salary will be based on experience.

Salary: $68,640-$71,500

 

Reporting to a Clinical Program Supervisor, the Mental Health Therapist I provides direct clinical and psychoeducational services to individuals (adults and minors), families, and groups. The Mental Health Therapist I facilitates client education, support groups, and promotes domestic violence awareness and prevention through community outreach.  

  • Provide crisis counseling services.
  • Plan and facilitate client psycho-educational and clinical support groups utilizing evidence informed/based curriculums.
  • Provide individual, crisis, and/or family therapy in a variety of settings including telehealth, in office, or in-home. Services to be delivered based on clinical assessment.
  • Complete bio-psychosocial assessments and develop individualized comprehensive treatment and safety plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Administer and analyze assessment tools and utilize results to inform treatment planning.
  • Provide clinical support to clients on caseload who are in crisis in the evenings and/or weekends, as needed. 

 

Qualifications

  • Master level degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other related behavioral science field.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Farsi or ASL preferred.
  • In the process of completing pre-licensure hours with an active registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW, MFTI) and in good standing in the state of California.

Mental Health Therapist II

Position and salary will be based on experience.

Salary: $71,500-$75,500

 

Includes all responsibilities of a Mental Health Therapist I, as well as the following:

  • Provide clinical support as a Preceptor to MSW and/or MFT student interns, as needed. 
  • Assist with 40 Hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training, community-based presentations, and briefings. Lead and facilitate weekly Case Management Team (CMT) meetings via the Family Resource Centers (FRCs) or other multidisciplinary team meetings, as needed per grant contracts. 

 

Qualifications

  • Master level degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other related behavioral science field.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Farsi or ASL preferred.
  • In the process of completing pre-licensure hours with an active registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW, MFTI) and in good standing in the state of California.
  • Have 1,500 BBS hours accumulated. 

 

 

 

Mental Health Therapist III


Position and salary will be based on experience.

Salary: $75,500-$80,000

 

Includes all responsibilities of a Mental Health Therapist II, as well as the following:

  • Assists with grant writing and reporting with moderate edits/supervision. 

  • Provide clinical support and supervision to MSW and/or MFT student interns as a designated Field Instructor. 

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinician and in good standing in the state of California (i.e., LCSW, LMFT, etc.)

 

 

 

 

Mental Health Therapist IV


Position and salary will be based on experience.

Salary: $80,000-$84,000

 

Includes all responsibilities of a Mental Health Therapist II, as well as the following:

  • Facilitate clinical individual and group supervision.

 

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years as a licensed Clinician and in good standing in the state of California (i.e., LCSW, LMFT, etc.)  

 

 


Mental Health Therapists report directly to a Licensed Clinical Program Supervisor.  Human Options is recruiting for four (4) part time and/or full time positions to provide therapeutic support:

 

  • One (1) at the Community Based Services site in the city of Santa Ana (Corbin).
  • One (1) at the Community Based Services site in the city of Garden Grove (Magnolia Park Family Resource Center).
  • One (1) at the Business Office and the Anaheim Justice Center.
  • One (1) at the Emergency Shelter and Transitional homes.
