INSTRUCTOR/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPANISH
Description: The Department of Languages at Charleston Southern University invites applications for a Instructor/Assistant Professor position beginning August 1, 2024. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Responsibilities: Starting in the fall of 2024, the Instructor or Assistant Professor will teach four courses of Spanish in the fall, and four courses in the spring 2024 in agreement with the yearly contract. Courses will be at the 100, 200, 300 and/or 400 levels. This instructor or professor must also hold office hours and support other instructional activities and committees.
