Instructor of Biology
Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Instructor of Biology. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service and who support the goals of a strong liberal arts education. Applicants should be willing to explore the integration of faith and learning with students.
Responsibilities: Teach 24 semester hours (lecture and lab) per academic year; follow university policies related to instruction, attend and participate in departmental and university functions, serve on committees as required, and oversee CSU's greenhouse and Herbarium Museum. Quality teaching experience is required, preferably in the areas of foundations courses for biology majors, Botany, Plant Taxonomy and Plant Physiology.
Qualifications: MS or PhD in Biology (preferably in the field of Botany)
