Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers, with skills in MS Word and Excel.
Required Education and Experience
- Professional-Technical:
- Bachelor’s degree in field and /or certification by recognized national certifying organization and/or appropriate experience.
- Lower Division Collegiate:
- A Master's Degree in discipline or Master’s degree plus 20 graduate hours in the subject area applied for, and prior teaching experience.
Other Aspects of this Position
- May be asked to maintain office hours and advise students.
- Assignment(s) may include day and/or evening courses, weekdays and/or weekends, face-to-face and/or distance-delivered instruction.
If you reside outside of Oregon, you must live within commuting distance to one of our centers.Â
