WHO WE’RE SEEKING:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern who is eager to learn and assist in the planning and execution of events at Hotel Drover. This person will be an integral part of the team, working alongside experienced professionals to support event operations, ensuring guests and clients receive exceptional experiences. If you’re passionate about hospitality, love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and have a strong attention to detail, this internship is for you.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- POTENTIAL TO START IN SPRING OR SUMMER OF 2025
- Assist Sales team in planning, detailing, and executing both corporate and social events.
- Provide support with event data entry and coordination using Microsoft Office and other systems, including event orders, invoices, contracts, and schedules.
- Gain hands-on experience in managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of events to ensure smooth operations, timely execution, and food quality.
- Assist in upselling services and products to clients during event detailing.
- Serve as an onsite point of contact for guests and the banquet team during events.
- Participate in daily morning sales meetings, gaining insight into event strategy and team collaboration.
- Support Hotel Drover’s mission to be a best-in-class Autograph Collection Hotel.
- Joining sales calls, meetings, and presentations under the guidance of our sales professionals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
