DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in bank reconciliation finalization, cleanup, and organization.
- Process and file unclaimed funds reports in multiple states.
- Enter year-end adjusting journal entries provided by auditors.
- Compile multiple lists and trackers of mortgages, taxes, and reporting requirements/due dates into one report.
- Calculate and track year-end cash flow distributions including saving excerpts of the waterfall for all communities in one location.
- Set up utility payments for ACH withdrawal; may require research, phone calls, and emails to obtain access to the online accounts.
- Enter and review management invoices, payables and assisting in payment
processing.
- Work with accounting managers, staff accountants, and AP specialists to help with bank recs, journal entries, unclaimed funds, and utilities.
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and
complete financial records.
- Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office
operations.
- All other duties as assigned.
