Job Summary:

The Bag Room Golf Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests within the Outside Operations at Forest Lake Club.  Your role is vital in crafting a positive, memorable, and exceptional golf experience.  As the first and last point of contact for our members and guests, you will set the tone for their day with your warm demeanor and outstanding service – welcoming, personable and professional.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greeting Members and their Guests with a welcoming smile.
  • Assist Members upon arrival and departure with their golf equipment.
  • Ensure the safe use and cleanliness of golf carts.
  • Practice and promote name recognition to build personal connections with members and guests.
  • Clean all golf clubs after use to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Organizing and maintaining the bag room, assisting golfers with their bags, ensuring the equipment is clean and in good condition.
  • Staging, cleaning and upkeep of golf cart fleet.
  • Maintain neat, orderly and professional-looking work areas.
  • Prepare the Practice Facilities for daily operations, ensuring readiness and appeal.
  • Stock the Practice Facility with clean, high quality practice balls.
  • Manage both the Driving Range and Short Game Facilities throughout daily operations to ensure consistent levels of readiness and appeal.
  • Organize the bag room for seamless daily operations.
  • Keep track of bags in storage, ensuring they are properly logged and managed.
  • Anticipate Members’ and Guests’ needs by tracking upcoming play using the Jonas tee time system.
  • Maintain a professional flow of communication between the Professional Staff, Golf Shop Staff and Outside Operations Staff.
  • Uphold club policies and procedures, including appearance, safety and proper reporting.
  • Support Forest Lake Club’s Vision, Mission and Values, as well as Service Standards.
  • Proper uniform attire, to include name tag.
  • Other tasks by request and management of the Professional Staff.

  • Additional Requirements
    • Ability to safely operate golf carts, range cart and carry-hauls.
    • Ability to lift 40lbs without strain or injury.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Willingness to work in extreme heat and cold (weather).
