Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficient with electronic communications, including e-mail and text, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15+ years of prior experience.
- 5+ years of prior experience in project management.
- Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues.
- Business development skills.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
- Established relationships with railroad clients.
Preferred Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:
- Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO.
- Member of a professional practice organization, national board member or officer, recognized expert in statewide activity, and a resource for national activities and organization.
Additional Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience, the salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 per year.
